It’s Open Farm Sunday this coming weekend, with farms up and down the country opening their gates to the public.
Washingpool Farm Shop, in Dottery Road, North Allington, is among those getting ready for the big day on Sunday 10 June.
You can discover first-hand what it means to be a farmer and learn about all the work Wahingpool does on the farm.
There’ll be animals, sheep shearing, West Dorset spinners, Marshwood Vale Young Farmers Club, activities in the classroom with Discover Farming, a machinery display, BBQ, tractor and trailer rides and much more.
This free event takes place between 10am and 4pm.
