Police appeal for witnesses

Police officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a road traffic collision in Bridport.

At 8am on Saturday 16 June 2018 a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the westbound carriageway of the A35 East Road near to the Lee Lane junction involving a silver Nissan Almera and a silver convertible BMW.

The driver of the BMW was taken to hospital for treatment to a possible neck injury.

Police Constable Alex Roach, of Bridport police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle immediately prior to the incident, to please contact Dorset Police.

“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area at the relevant time and may have captured the incident on their dashcam.”
